Milwaukee, WI (WHBL-Learfield) - The Milwaukee Brewers won their third straight game this afternoon, 4-to-2 over Atlanta at Miller Park. Ryan Braun hit his third homer of the year to give the Brew Crew a 2-nothing lead in the first inning. The Braves scored twice in the top of the second, but Milwaukee scored in the bottom of the frame and never looked back. Shaun Marcum picked up his first win as a Brewer, giving up both Atlanta runs on five hits with two walks and a pair of strikeouts. He went six innings to even his record at 1-and-1. Braun, Carlos Gomez, and George Kottaras had two hits apiece as Milwaukee out-hit Atlanta 10-8. The Braves never churned out an extra-base hit in this one. Brian McCann and Dan Uggla had two singles apiece. Tommy Hanson took the loss, giving up three runs in five-and-a-third innings. He's 0-and-2. Atlanta lost 3-of-4 in the Brewer series. Milwaukee will host the Chicago Cubs for a weekend series that starts Friday night.
